I had a really great New Years Eve. I was originally supposed to go to a party, but I wasn’t feeling well for the first part of the day, so I resolved not to. Some years I don’t care to make “resolutions.” This year, I have two that I know I will keep:
1. Remain a non-smoker. Come January 10th, it will be 8 months. I am so proud of myself… it wasn’t even planned. But I am very happy I quit. It was a good decision financially, health-wise, and for my physical appearance.
2. Exercise at the gym at least 4 days per week, for approximately 45 mins. I took up this routine a few months ago, and want to stick with it. Not only is it good for my physical appearance and physical health, but I also love what it does for me mentally and emotionally. There are some other ideas lurking around in my mind; goals I’d like to achieve and habits I’d like to either develop or leave behind. But I will just let those do their thing in my brain, and see what happens.
